The 18-room Shinta Mani boutique Hotel in Siem Reap, known for its community programmes and Hospitality Institute, will close between April (19th) and December this year for a complete refurbishment. This will be under the supervision of internationally acclaimed designer Bill Bensley, who was the guiding hand that created their sister Hotel de la Paix. They will add 18 more rooms, introduce a new spa, lengthen the swimming pool and enlarge their restaurant.

In September this year, Shinta Mani expect to open a second property, in Luang Prabang, Laos, with the same commitment to their community and hospitality programmes, as they have in Siem Reap. Longer term, they are also looking to open an additional property along the south coast in Cambodia, at a destination yet to be decided.

Their Siem Reap sister establishment, the stylish Hotel de la Paix are now offering a torch-lit romantic al fresco dining experience in a rural setting just 15 minutes from the hotel, for couples to enjoy a Khmer barbecue dinner with champagne served by their very own chef and waiter.
