Tuesday, January 19th, 2016

Apsara Authority, the body responsible for the management of the majestic temples of Angkor near Siem Reap, has issued a new ‘Code of Conduct’ for visitors.

This follows a spate of incidents involving travellers and tourists, including the taking of naked selfies at some temples and the damage of a sacred Buddha statue at Bayon.

Below is the new ‘Code of Conduct’ in full. It is also available in Khmer, Chinese, Japanese, Korean and French.
